Farms for City Children

The Threshing Barn
Farms for City Children was formed over 30 years ago by the well-known children’s writer Michael Morpurgo and his wife Clare. The Pilgrim Trust’s grant was used to re-point the Victorian threshing barn at Wick Court (one of the farms operated by the charity). The Barn is a working grain mill that also provides shelter to some of the Farm’s free-ranging animals.
