At our June Trustee meeting, we were delighted to award 13 new grants coming to a total of £273,500 from our Preservation and Conservation programme.
From the Baird’s birthplace to plans for a community hub in Scotland’s Inner Hebrides the Pilgrim Trust is working to preserve and restore the diverse heritage and culture of these islands. Our latest awards include plans to enhance community hubs in Croydon and the Isle of Eigg, an award to repair and protect exceptional Atkinson Bros stained-glass windows and grants to restore public art murals commissioned as part of the pioneering post-war Patronage of the Arts Scheme.
From urgent repairs to specialist investigations, all of our grant-giving is designed to enhance wellbeing through cultural heritage and social initiatives across the UK.
